Telepathy is the term used in Parapsychology to describe the ability of thought transference. There has been much research into the subject of Telepathy. The Russians conducted many experiment into the possibility of thought transference. Often, cards with symbols are used in the study of telepathy. These card are known as Zener Cards, named after the inventor of the cards.

Experiments are conducted with a sender who draws the card and concentrates on the symbol trying to project the image to the receiver. Sometimes colors are used or even flavors from foods.

Telepathy has been reported by many different people from many backgrounds. Twins seem to experience the phenomenon more often than other groups of people. This may be due to the fact, especially with identical twins, that their brain waves seem to be very close in frequency signatures. There are studies which suggest when one twin would blink the other's brain wave registered the event. This would account for, perhaps, why one twin may sustain an injury and the other sometimes would report feeling the pain. The telepathy signal does not appear to be governed by the laws of physics like the Inverse Square Law, which implies a signal must be increased to travel a greater distance.
